St Modwen’s is a Grade 1 listed 18th century church. Located in the market place it backs onto the Trent River Gardens. Holly and Yew trees stand alongside the ancient memorials and tombstones, weathering in the churchyard. The interior has inspiring features to sketch and has a handy toilet. As the church is centrally located there are plenty of cafes and pubs for refreshments.
