Dying to get out your paintbrushes but shy about painting in public? Meet up with your Derby Sketching Club fellow artists at 10.00 in the castle courtyard at Elvaston. Plenty of subjects to inspire here: the main building, the boathouse, the lake, the unusual topiary, the woods…so much variety you might want to bring a packed lunch and stay for the day.  You will need your art materials, sensible clothing for the weather and perhaps something to sit on. If you arrive after 10, Whatsappers can find eachother in the grounds.
