Hull Trip

Our Autumn coach trip to Hull is open for bookings! First visiting the Ferens Art Gallery in the centre of Hull, with their permanent collection of medieval art to British, maritime painting to modern and new media. Renaissance and Baroque, Eighteenth Century European, The Netherlands, Victorian and Edwardian, Contemporary and Modern, Early 20th century British, Maritime, Works on Paper…

The annual Open Exhibition at the Ferens Art Gallery. Expect to see a fascinating array of artwork including impressive paintings, photography and textiles, as well as a number of striking sculptures and ceramics. There’s a cafe too.

We then plan to visit the Brynmor Jones Library Art Gallery Along with their small but exquisite permanent collection (think of The Bloomsbury Group, Stanley Spencer, Walter Sickert, Henry Moore…) the Royal Society of Portrait Artists are showing ‘Revealing the Human’ their annual exhibition. Around 120 portraits on display. 

Departing 9.15am from the Masons Arms, Mickleover (no parking at the pub). Coach tickets are £25. Sign up and pay at any session.
