Hopton Hall near Carsington are offering artists the chance to paint and draw their grounds throughout the month of July when the famous roses are in full bloom.  Flowers, trees and architecture provide inspiration Gazebos are available if you prebook. No entry charge for artists. Month of Art has a competitive element: judging takes place during the final weekend in July and the winning artwork will be bought for £1000, second prize is £250 and third prize is a £100 Turners voucher. You are welcome to sell your artwork at the Peak District Artisans Show on 26th and 27th July, (see website for details). Bring a folding chair and your art supplies.
