Accurate Colour Mixing
26TH FEBRUARY 2017. 10.00am to 4.00 pm
Tutor - Peter Valentine -
Subject/Theme - Accurate Colour Mixing
Following Peter's excellent demonstration of colour mixing last year, now is your opportunity to develop these skills for yourself under
Peter's tutoring. He advises the following requirements -.
Bring your usual paints, (either watercolour, acrylic or oils). Peter would prefer you use oils but it is not essential plus something to
paint on - canvas, board, paper etc.
The minimum range of colours would include two yellows, two reds, two blues plus a white.
Lemon yellow and cadmium yellow (deep).
Cervlean blue and french ultramarine
Cadmium red and either permanent rose or alcycuian crimson,
If the watercolourists don't have an ultramarine blue then use a permanent blue instead.
THE ABOVE TUTORED WORKSHOP IS FREE ( REPEAT FREE), TO ALL DSC MEMBERS.
For NONE MEMBERS the fee is £15.
The workshop is limited to 15 artists - first come first served so get your name registered quickly.
The list will be available on Tuesdays and Fridays at Grange Hall or contact any Club committee member.
